Costco website shows this as model A515-57-598B. Acer's Lifecycle Extension Guide for A515-57 shows you can upgrade/replace both RAM (two SODIMM slots) and SSD (two M.2 slots). Couldn't find specs about speeds or limits in Acer's docs, but according to LaptopMedia's A515-57 teardown/review:

Costco lists "Backlit Keyboard and 1080p Webcam" in the Features at the top of the page, then lists "Backlit Keyboard" in the Product Details and the Specifications sections. However Acer specs say this model does not have a backlit keyboard, and one review on Costco's site confirms the laptop they received didn't have a backlit keyboard.

Interesting. This is actually a good deal because the RAM is upgradable, but it is a shame that the fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard and the 1080p webcam aren't there. I'm especially a bit mad with the 1080p webcam because I use it a lot and I don't like using bulky external ones

You are right, here is the detail in the Acer [acer.com]website.
Not just this one, I have seen many listings particularly technology related ones give wrong information in the Costco listing page, but this one is very key because most of the people are looking for backlit keyboard (which is wrongly listed in this page)

Costco usually specs what they sell with optional upgrades than the typical model, so you'll usually see FHD screens, back-lit keyboards and other options included. I'd expect to see more complaints about no back-lit keyboard if that was indeed the case.

If you are looking for desktop, Costco in store also clearing out HP 24" All-in-1, 8gb ram, 1T SSD, AMD processor for $399.97. I didn't buy it because the ram only 8gb. Sorry... don't remember the item#.
