I recently saw these socks in store at Kohl's, and the cotton content was approximately 78% with approximately 17% polyester, 5% nylon and the rest spandex. So don't be surprised if you don't get 80% cotton from Amazon. There were also two slightly different packages in the store one made in Honduras and other Pakistan. The ones from Honduras were a much softer feel.

This may not match the $6.76 deal, but I suspect we probably won't see that price happen again. At $10, it's worth picking up another pack or two.

Feb 2017,I purchased 3 packs of these [ibb.co]. 18 pair. I wear them almost everyday.
Upon receipt in 2017, I noticed two of the packs were made in Honduras and one pack from Mexico. Comparing the two, the Honduras-made seemed just a hair thicker and more plush. Moving forward, I was able to differentiate the two because the Honduras-made socks have an ankle cuff that's just about twice as wide as the ones made in Mexico. Both cuffs work fine, it's just an easy way to tell them apart. Over the years, 5-7 socks developed holes and were trashed.
Flash forward to yesterday when I received my two new packs from this deal. Both say made in Honduras. So I went through all my socks to upgrade. Any socks that looked like it was a couple washes from a hole, went into the trash. Example [ibb.co]. After I was done sorting, I grabbed the trash pile and noticed something. Most of them were the thin-cuff Mexico sock. Here's a photo [ibb.co] I took (you can see the cuff difference here too). 11 from Mexico and 6 from Honduras BUT remember that I started with twice as many Honduras-made socks! Upon discovering this, I then double-checked socks that I saved.... and sure enough, no socks made in Mexico are still in my collection.
So, it would appear Gold Toe's production move from Mexico to Honduras was for the better.
