I've somehow managed to keep my subscription free since it launched. I thought they finally caught on to me last time and said I was no longer eligible (2nd Best Buy code attempt), but a new LG TV got me another 3 months. The trick is not to try if you are currently subscribed. Cancel auto renew, let it expire and then try the next day.
EDIT: you can get a free 3 month code from Best Buy and sit on the code until your current subscription ends. If you try to redeem through a device or app, make sure you aren't already logged into your ATV+ account when you click redeem. It will process the free trial and then ask what account you want to use it on.

I have a fire tv, already have the Apple TV app from previous free trial, also already have an Apple ID. When launching the app in the tv no where do I get the offer. Any suggestions?

Make sure you are signed out of your Apple ID on the app and then you should see it.

Thanks for your advice. If I cancel auto renew via Amazon now, will it still let me keep 3 months trial?

Similar situation here, mine won't end until 25th. But the email Amazon sent says if not activated by December 15th it's automatically canceled. So you can apply and just wait it out.

You can cancel auto renew (or cancel in general) and it will keep working until the 3 months expires.

Thanks! I signed out of the app, deleted it, then when downloading it again now I see the offer.

I tried it on PS5, and it didn't work. Decided to give it a shot on Roku, and it worked like a charm, so you might want to add that device as an option. Thanks OP!

Yep, I got 6 months with my PS5 and it ends on 1/22/2024. I've already pretty much watched everything that's worthwhile so I'll just let it expire and wait for the next free offer. There's only like 5 or 6 shows that I wanted to watch. Most of it is woke garbage.

I remember people talking up Apple TV so I took them up on their last free 3 month trial, watched everything they had to offer of any interest to me, and I didn't really care for most of it. Pretty underwhelmed.

Good news: it worked for me even though I had exhausted all of my demo vouchers. Even the Best Buy demos stopped working . This one's a keeper
