I still remember the year that two trailer trash women went at each other in the doll aisle over some discounted Rainbow High dolls. They were screaming and cursing at each other, and their kids were crying. You don't get raw human emotion like that from online shopping.

If you absolutely need new, yes. Otherwise, check FB marketplace. There are a bunch of local ones around me for 100-130 dollars. Quest 3 is out now so a lot of people upgraded and are trying to sell their Quest 2's.

If you're on the fence about VR, start with the Quest 2. If it seems like something you'll continue with, the upgrade to the 3 is very worth it. The difference in resolution/screen quality between generations is massive.

$200 doesn't seem too steep to try the world of VR, what are your favorite things on VR, what do you recommend trying?

I'm worried I'd be buying so many games for my kids, whereas with their console, I just have game pass ultimate, which I got for pretty cheap during a stacking deal.

XBox Series X for $450 with $75 gift card back is pretty slick. Combine that with 5% Discover CB this quarter and you've got a <$400 Series X after tax.

Includes Diablo 4 too (not sure why it's in the ad twice).

Because both the Diablo 4 and non Diablo 4 bundle are the same price after the disccount. Guessing the Diablo 4 bundle isn't in stock everywhere, so as a backup you can get the Series X normal for 450+75 GC which is still a good deal. With Diablo 4 though it's a great deal.

The toy deals from Target this year have been extremely mediocre compared to last year Frown. The bogo 50 list is mostly junk brands this year (has gotten worse every year I think).

One is just console, other is console + D4. Guess some locations will get lucky while others wont.
