I own this exact bench purchased back in July for this price. I think this is normal price for the bench.

I have a very limited space to build a complete gym I.e elliptical, power rack, adjustable dumbbells etc. so I was on the market for a multifunctional bench

For the price and flexibility I really like it. Much better than my last one

Versatility - I enjoy the small footprint. I can do leg extensions, chest, even some biceps.

Sturdiness - for the 3 bench press exercises I find it very sturdy. I do about 80-90lbs dumbbells in each hand and I don't really feel any wobbling.

Where the wobbling comes into play are leg extensions. I feel like the starting position should go lower. But I make do. This is my least favorite thing about it.

My other complaint is bench decline. I feel like the seat doesn't allow for a nice straight decline. It has a seat then declines. Not used to it but again, I make do.

So for this price range I found it to be the best for multifunctional benches. I'm sure above 200 there could be better.

For comparison I owned the Walmart CAP version of this bench and a no name Amazon one. Returned the other 2.

Given the budget I was on I would buy it again.

Almost all reviews sorted by most helpful are fake. You can tell they all written too nicely and generic. Fakespot also gives it D rating

Don't waste your money on this. Multipurpose weight benches in general do not do anything great and at this price there is 100% chance that this is wobbly junk.

This obviously does leg extensions but does anyone know if you can do leg curls as well with this?

Yes. There is a video on the page that shows leg curls towards the end.

The bench doesn't fold or collapse at all, right? I too have a pretty tight space. I like that this has the bench and the rack separate, so I can set up only what I need. I might go for a separate folding bench plus rack tho, because then I could also do floor exercises in my (tiny) workout space. Like maybe these two for around $40 more total

Correct it doesn't fold up (like the one you sent) so you can easily store it. The best position I found for it was in the seated position as if I was going to do shoulder presses. Then I would push it in the corner.

The only thing you lose buy going with the other one is the attached but removeable preacher bar. Which is good for biceps and in this setup back. But you do gain the ability to fold it.

Best of luck

Literally just got this delivered today and will provide feedback once it's setup. Desperately needed a new bench. I'm not pushing hundreds of lbs or anything, so as long as this is sturdy I'll be happy

It's fine for getting started or for someone on a budget as long as they know this isn't top tier equipment.

I own one.. the bar holder is. With 2x 25s and a 45lb bar the arms bend slightly outward. I thought the bolts weren't tightened or something but nope..

My son is 13 and very sports oriented, daughter 16 and getting more and more into fitness, I am on a wild weight loss journey. This couple with the weight set from WM that was posted recently. Should I go for it? Or will the non premium equipment pose a hazard?

Please buy a power rack and bench instead of this thing. This is full of stuff you don't need. The leg extension/leg curl thing is useless. You'll get much better gains from squatting. That curl contraption is useless as well. Just do dumbbell curls. Use the bench or inside of your knee if you want isolation.

As a beginner, should I get this or the other cheaper one?

I would never expect to exceed the weight limit on either.

There's no chance this will hold anywhere close to 800lbs
