Are you imagining a specific "new one?" Hard to swallow when others were able to get the samsung ultrawide 240hz oled for $800 a few weeks ago. Double the screen size.

Tempting for a Smaller OLED screen. I Don't have room for a big screen on my desk. This would be perfect size with Great specs, LG has HDMI 2.1 that supports 48 Gbps bandwidth. Apparently LG now covers Burn-in on 2-year warranty as reported by the verge. Shame that the Price is still very high compared to larger screens.

I bit, as this was the size I was looking to get (passed on the Samsung OLED deal as it was too large for my needs, although a better deal - and the things I have read on RTings about Samsung OLED burn in issues). I plan to pair with my 4090 build. Was hoping for a sub-$700 on this monitor but with PayBoo the price is still very good. Using PayBoo offers no additional warranty, so I am hoping that LG 2-year burn in warranty suffices and the OLED monitor prices and tech improve by then. Will set it up with taskbar on auto hide and browser on full screen to protect it from burn in, and will use it exclusively for gaming and streaming content. The lower brightness does not bother me as I plan to use it in a fairly dark room and had good luck with LG OLED tech as my 7+ year old LG 3D OLED TV has zero burn in.

I bit too... was on the fence on buying this straight from LG for $865 after taxes as a Cyber Monday sale. Decided to look on SD to see what the lowest price had been and found this thread! $780 out the door (sadly I don't have a Payboo card or it could have been $720... next time!). Thank you and repped!
