I agree they look good. One thing to note is that the material is not mostly wood unlike the Hemnes model.

Not who you responded to but I've had a Hemnes dresser for about 6 years now and its been perfect. Aside from getting dinged it still looks brand new.

I bought a pair a few months ago with great hesitance but refused to pay 1k for big store brands. I am very impressed with the overall build quality, assembly engineering as well as overall look and feel. Would 100% Buy again.

I see - that helps. How can you tell other than seeing person if it is solid wood vs MDF? Hemnes and Koppang (not sure what this one is made of but guessing MDF) are cheaper than Idanas so I would guess Idanas is also solid wood but website isnt clear I dont think (just says both are made of wood).

I still got IKEA gift cards I bought two years ago and could get one of these. I am just not liking that some of the material is particle board but my current drawer dresser is made of that anyways.

Check the materials info. Parts of this are made of "honeycomb paper filling" which is basically cardboard. Google it to see pics. Not dissing the deal, but just know what you're buying.

Even my Hemnes formed a bow in the middle not more than 6 months after being put into normal use, sadly.

Ouch. I was going to buy Hemnes for the real wood reason but a bow is bad especially for real wood. BTW, is the bow at the top or at the bottom? Do you think adding another leg at the center would remedy this?
