This is a YMMV In-store deal only, link for product description only - this was part of the electrical department tool clearance that's been happening over the last month. This set is cheaper than one pair of Klein linesman pliers! Not for the tradesman but great for the weekend warrior. The toolbox alone is just about worth the deal, plus all of the tools. They're not Klein's but they'll probably work for any residential electrical work you need to do.
Lowe's list this item as $111.61 but was $77.98 in the stores.
Kobalt's huge 22-piece tool kit has all the right tools for almost any job you'll encounter. Insulated screwdrivers provide extra protection for any fastener job. A well-crafted, versatile plier selection cuts and crimps any task. A smart selection of nut drivers make fastener tightening fast and easy. Handy electrician scissors are corrosion resistant and have precision ground blades for efficient and precise cutting. Wire stripper blades are precision ground for clean, accurate stripping. Keep your Kobalt 22-piece tool kit organized and ready to take anywhere with the durable nylon tool bag. A great value full of well-built, professional tools. Kobalt Electrician's Tool Kit, 12-16 Awg Stranded | KBSWT20
Thanks - if it helps one person then it's worth it. I hate comments from lazy folks that just want to 'add to cart' and check out. Sometimes if you want a really good deal you gotta put some effort into it! If it's not for you then no negative comments needed, just pass on it. Thanks for the positive comment though, balances out some other ones that I've gotten recently from the couch shoppers. It's a deal site and it is in fact, a deal and I've been able to duplicate many deals from store to store in my area so I know it's not often a waste of time. Every store is different, every market is different! If one person can find a deal then great, mission achieved!
Pretty good. I would say if you don't already have all or most of these tools and you plan to do some electrical work, this would be a nice kit. Otherwise, meh.
On a side note, I don't think I've ever gotten in on a Lowe's YMMV deal after checking hundreds of those deals over the years.

Apparently my store has 2 in stock. Is it really that good of a deal though?

I have had better luck going to the smaller stores with less foot traffic. Needless to say you are still competing with cook shops, resellers, and other slick dealers. I live in the boondocks, so I have 3 stores in 3 different towns about 30 minutes away in different directions. I'm not just popping in to see.
I agree, if you didn't own any tools I would buy it. Not much here I would really call an electricians set. I was hoping it had like a fluke or klein multimeter on it. It is still a good deal for someone starting out.
Is that working for you? It has been wonky for me ever since they changed their site around. It is my off season, so I have time to do some deal hunting.

If you need them and use them, yes.
The bag is worth about this much. The wire stripper is probably $15. Screwdrivers are always handy, though only 3 are insulated for electrical work (I always turn the power off at the breaker so I just use regular screwdrivers). Needle nose pliers are super handy for many use cases. Linesman pliers are useful for cutting wire. So if you have none of this stuff the bag and screwdrivers and pliers are easily worth the price. Everything else is a bonus.
Just remember - the most expensive tool you own is the one you have never used. If you already have the basics and don't have an electric project on the board it still might be wasting money.

I've missed on a lot. But about 3 years I got 3 decent size plastic $4 garden carts; 2 for me and 1 for sister. Left 1 for someone else. Perfect for holding rain water from 275(?) gallon tote. Just dip water canisters in and full in a flash. Not to mention all the bush and tree trimmings, dirt and other stuff. Second deal was a 5' werner house ladder for under $25 several years ago. Getting a lot of use out it.

Price out individual components, do it at HFT even... It's not an absolute steal but it's a great deal if you need them all. Tradesman will scoff at it because it's not Klein, Ideal, Knipex, Channel lock etc but those are on a whole different level.
Thank you! There were 2 in Lowe's in Mason, Ohio. I got one there is one more. Lots of other electrician tools for sale around it. I needed a tool bag and this is perfect! Looks heavy duty.

Coincidentally I saw lot of ideal stuff on sale like wire strippers, fish tape...
