Anyone have experience with this pizza oven? Is it available in the warehouse for cheaper?
It's the same price in warehouse (at least in the SF Bay area). I looked yesterday.
I was debating between this and the koda 16 but decided to get this instead, mainly for the ability to use this indoors. I'm not too picky with getting perfect leoparding spots on my pizza. I figured I'd get way more use out of this than the koda so while the koda can probably give me better results, getting more uses out of this holds more value to me.
I'm by no means a professional... just someone that enjoys cooking.
I only had one cooking session on this so far and made some neapolitan pizza to experiment. This one was able to hit 750-775F after 20 min of preheating and it seems like it will have no problem hitting the advertised 800F. I didn't use a timer, and am still just learning how the oven behaves but my pizzas were cooking around 3 min. I did end up with pretty nice lepoarding on my pizza which I was not expecting.
It's probably not going to give you true neapolitan pizza because the temperature limitations, but it's close enough to scratch that itch.
I think if you go in with the expectation that you are not going to get the same performance as true pizza oven that gets over 900F, you'll be satisfied.
I'm very happy with this oven. The only thing that would make me return this is if they came out with at 16" version.

While Costco is probably the best company to buy something from, I just am not convinced yet to buy any of these pizza ovens... But I'm sure glad the competition is out there, since the price is going somewhat down. Maybe eventually we will be lucky enough to even thrift some of these things

That will take 10 years. The moment these hit thrift stores they will have a buyer
