Counterpoint: I own twenty Sonos speakers that I've collected over the last decade plus and have never had a single issue. Many of them were bought used through Facebook marketplace. Zero problems

Fair warning about the Sonos Roam. Mine turned into an expensive brick after a little over a year, and support would not do anything about it. You can read about a lot of these reports on the Sonos forum

Have had the roam since launch. No problems. Might have lucked out. Who knows. Have 9-10 Sonos speakers and none have ever had an issue.

It's specifically the magnetic charger. There's a known issue where it shorts the battery. If you buy with Amex or similar you'll get a full refund. It's a really nice speaker otherwise.

My Roam has been great, years in, heavy use including beach / camping environments, many charges. Every Sonos product I've had has been great. Zero issues.

Ah ok. Yeah, I never got the charger since mine normally stays plugged in my bathroom and occasionally taken outside.

Nice. These prices are exactly the same as what Sonos ran during their early access Black Friday preview sale today. It ran for 3 hours and prices are back up to normal on Sonos.com, so this is a solid deal from Adorama as it's essentially what Sonos will offer during Black Friday next week.

Edit: as of midnight, these deals are basically now live everywhere including Sonos, Best Buy, etc
