Got this headset from SecondPity few months ago. Headset came in brand new looking condition, with case and full accessory kit. After about a month of usage the battery stopped charging. Filing a claim with Allstate was a bit painful, their website is awful. I was fully prepared to deal with some deductible nonsense, or "we don't cover this as per our fine print" but they did pull through. They said they couldn't fix the device and sent me a full refund check. It sucks that it happened, but it was the risk I was willing to take with refurb+warranty. But the seller is legit, and the insurance actually works. Having said all that, I will not be purchasing this headset again, as it's a bit heavy on the bass for my taste, and has a very narrow soundstage which also made me realize that I prefer high quality in-ear ANC earbuds over over-the-ear ANC cans. On a side note, these were FANTASTIC for gaming, though if you plan to use them with Discord or voice comms, you will need to have a separate mic.

I think for Airplane usage where ANC makes huge difference, I have heard these are better for NC vs QC 45 or QC35 bose. I personally have a QC35 II. Do you have any idea on NC, comfort wise I don't think these can beat Bose.

I have never tried Bose so I'm not sure. I had the XM2s for a long time and the noise cancellation blew me away. I've worn them on long international flights and I've forgotten I was on a plane. I had a short flight where I was in the middle seat in between 2 large guys and a crying baby in the row in front of me and I was able to put these on close my eyes and I was in my own space and the flight went by very quickly.
The noise cancellation has only gotten better. Comfort wise I don't like the band on the xm5, they hurt me after a while but everyone's head shape is different. They also don't fold up like the XM2 so they aren't as portable but the case is very thin so it's not a big issue.
It is an expensive headphones in a very saturated market. I bet a lot of people return these to go with something cheaper or more comfortable. For example, some people buy multiple of these so they can decide which color to keep and return what they don't like. There are so many reasons.

It is pretty comfortable and sounds great. Battery lasts almost 3 days before recharging and I would use them 4-6 hours daily.
