I like how people say they saw the offer but they refused to click on the button that says ADD. i mean, who does that? is there some type of planning involved that you have to take a minute or two or even a half a day to decide if you want the offer, not to use it, but simply to put it in your bucket so that one day you might decide to use it...or not. none of these offers last forever and while it might be reasonable to believe they should stick around for at least a day, it makes no sense to actually see it and don't add it. which is exactly why amex has no problem with deleting it with no prior warning; everyone who wanted it saw it and added it. anyone who saw it and doesn't have it now didn't want it as bad as the next person. lessons learned.

If you are really interested "why" - I didn't immediately decide on which card I wanted to add the offer (to possibly combine it with other spending bonuses).
You are right, lesson learned.
But I'm here not to complain, rather to inform.​

It doesnt work on doordash gift cards that are $90 for $100 right now but it does work on doordash gift cards that are $80 for $100 right now as long as you get the total over 250

Just purchased 3 x $100 Doordash physical cards for $240 and one $25 Gap/Old Navy for $21.25 ( 15% off), paid $261.25 total, and received good news confirmation from Amex instantly.

Adidas gift card is on sale as well, $25 for $20, if you just want a filler to make > $250
