What is the advantage of this $150 router (Archer AXE75) vs going with a single AXE5400 (Deco XE75) mesh unit for $120. or two of the mesh units for $220.

Why would a person chose this stand alone router vs going with 1 or 2 of the Deco mesh units?

I personally have never had a good experience with mesh networks, even with Ethernet backhaul. I normally buy multiple routers and set the others up as access points. But that's just my experience.

I'm thinking about that too. I have 2 Nighthawk routers and one of them I'll set it up as AP

Decos are primarily app based management.

The web interface is significantly reduced.

Deco will also have a single ssid for both bands.

This router may accept open source firmware.

There is also this one for USD 200 at Costco.
The processor is only 1.5 GHz compared to this at 1.7
But I see there are two more antennas on the other one.

I haven't bought either one and would love to learn what your experiences are if you own either/both.

I have a 2.5g router. So i would like 2.5g ethernet jack on my wifi access point.
the 6e deco has that. but everyone says wifi is not as good as this regular as the regular tp-link router.

So i don't know which one to buy. All i need is an AP. thats it.

This or $150 ax5400 pro (x72 pro) ...I m not able to figure out if 6E is worth extra $10 or not
