I canceled a couple of months ago, and this worked for me!

They always get me pretty quickly after canceling 😂 but I think I'm averaging about three dollars per book that I have in my library

It would be typical for Audible to offer one of its huge sitewide cash sales around Cyber Monday, so perhaps this $20 might be worth more than it usually would (if you spend it during that sale). Dunno, of course; they don't announce those sales, and they've only run them for maybe the past ... 2 years or so, so who knows what will happen. ANYHOW: probably don't spend the money immediately, except on daily deals if you see one of those that's good.

I just discovered that Spotify now has audiobooks included in the premium subscription. I think you get 15 hours of listening included per month, but you can mix and match any books. That may not be enough for some people, but gives me enough that I likely won't need Audible again.

Yeah, it's a nice perk if you causally listen to books though a lot of novels go over 15 hours so you might want to time it so you could spread a novel over 2 months. They also sell audiobooks, but the prices are a bit higher compared to what you pay for a credit with Audible.
