Notice that they advise plugging phones in to the USB A port not the C port even if the phone has a Type C port. Android with Qualcomm Snapdragon is optimized for Quick Charge not USB Power Delivery. Although newer Android will charge on PD the battery life is shortened because temperature and amps are not well controlled.
PPS is the power delivery solution. S21, S22 and S23 use PD-PPS if the power supply has that feature but it may not be active if more than one port is in use. In this case the phone may actually be receiving a PD 3.0 charge shortening battery life.
USB C-PD PPS chargers with only Type C ports do not list comparability for Galaxy older than S21 because these phones don't have PPS just a back-up to accept Type C PD charging. The phone will still fast charge but with a compromise to battery life.
It is unfortunate that Qualcomm Quick Charge has lost to PD in the market place. QC 5 is a superior technology because it is the only true universal charger which can deliver an optimal well controlled charge to both new and old devices from the power supply C port. One thing QC 5 can not do is to offer multiple Type C ports which consumers prefer. PD 3.0 does allow multiple ports which is why it is popular.
QC 5 can charge a device which is optimized for it from 0-50% in five minutes without heating or damaging the battery making it fastest charging protocol available with backwards compatibility to older devices. As of now there are only a few QC 5 chargers available and they are car chargers. For those with older phones which do not have PPS the best option for battery life is to charge from a QC4+ charger such as Belkin QC4+ 27 watt phone charger using C to C cable or QC 3 charger using a Type A to C cable if the phone has a C port. Belkin's QC4+ charger has only one C port and is quickly identified by the large printing "QC4+" on the side. It can be used with a C to micro B cable to charge older phones battery banks and other devices or with a modern quality C to C cable for C port devices. If a substandard C to C cable is used then it will only slow charge,
Is this still the case for anyone else? I'm seeing the same $54.39 via Costco Next. Really sucks if they actually increased the price to match the BF sale on Amazon....

If I don't care about multiple port use, is PPS comparable to quick charge protocol?
QC5 is backwards compatible to PD PPS. It offers advanced control to monitor and limit temperature, current , volts. Device controllers determine what is possible. Snapdragon SOC in mobile phones has the technology but the phone maker must enable it. S-D 835 and QC4 were releases together in 2016 for example.
Good luck getting 100w! I'm only getting 92w when charging my anker 737 power bank. Customer service told me, China will take a moment before responding to service tickets. Note to self, anker products are overpriced.
