Ordered directly from Bose with new customer coupon (by signing up for newsletter).
So $199 - $20 = $179. Same price as the Costco deal but with hard case, I hope.
That's the 2021 model, this is the 2023 model. Don't think difference is much though.

I saw in one youtube video, main difference is we can completely reduce noice cancellation or customize different nc levels with new model and it has action button to use for different purposes like open spotify/change noice cancellation levels etc.,

What's the difference between the SE and SC?
The QC45 SE that Costco sells is just the QC45 with a soft case.
Bose just came out with the QuietComfort Headphones, replacing the QC45; and the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, replacing the 700. This SC is the Costco version of the QuietComfort Headphones (non-Ultra), again just with a soft case.
I think the QC45 SE is the better value at its sale price. There aren't really any significant improvements in the new generation.

Thx for your reply, have been trying to figure out the difference.
Compared to the QC45, how big of a difference is the improved wind reduction on the 2023 QuietComfort when selecting "wind block"? Outdoor wind noise when choosing "aware mode" on the QC45 seems to be quite noticeable.
A couple of slight improvements over QC45 but most important, firmware updates will go on a little longer compared to QC45 and has more options on the app. maybe worth the extra 40 bucks
