I've left some of our v3s outside for more than 2 winters with temps down to -20f and they are still working. Up here we also found that it is an awesome aurora detection camera. Many of us aurora chasers use them for weather and aurora activity checks. Way cheaper than an AllSky camera set up.

Yes you can pay for extra services but the devices work fine without those subscriptions.

Never a wyze product again. I still have a random image file that was automatically saved of a totally different person's kitchen that I've never seen before in my life and after that I threw my 4 wyze v2 cams in the trash.

Dumb post.

Use your spare microSD cards and you'll never need any type of subscription. The only minor annoyance is that when reviewing footage there's a five minute delay against real time.

I only use their cameras and they crush any others ounce for ounce.
