You are better off putting the price of a second drive toward disaster recovery solutions like Backblaze or Carbonite. If you experience a flood or fire it's just a collection of duplicate dead drives. Plus, maintaining perfect mirrored redundant drives at home can be tedious depending on your setup.

Just received it. Transfer rate is about 500 MB/s, which is OK for me. Android recognizes it as "Micron USB" :-)

That speed will drop drastically with large file transfers. If that's not an issue, then cool.
