Why is it better? I honestly would like to buy a racing wheel but I am not a huge racing fan. However, I want to enjoy the immersion of driving a little bit more.

I am similar. Race on occasion but it's not my major interest. I was handed down a top of the line wheel and pedals from about 12 years ago. Still works perfectly, although it only works with my old PS3 which I got back out and play GT5 on. The more expensive set is more solid, metal pedals, more motors for the wheel and so on. I just feel like the one for $45 would last longer and be more precise and realistic.

I got this wheel last year on a flash summer sale from game stop for $100..definitely worth it at that price . But i agree since you are only $45 away from better it is worth it for better pedals - the G29 is a better deal to get better pedals (from dell site if you have amex card can save another $40). The pedals on these T150 are plastic, light weight, and move around if not held down to the ground...this can many times be frustrating in games.

This is still ok if you need to save $50 and if you are not a big racing fan ...this is fine. (that's what I am too Smilie).
