Bought the Q Revo a few months ago when it was on sale for $800 and it is completely worth it in my opinion. We moved into a home with hardwood floors and we run it every two days. It does a fantastic job picking up regular dust and sweeps pretty well into the corners. The lidar and tracking system is very accurate and you can even program it to clean in the same orientation as your hardwood floors per each room. I especially like that it vacuums and mops in hard to reach places like under the bed and couch.
We do spend about 3 mins in the morning picking things off the ground so the Revo can do a thorough job cleaning the rooms. We have yet to change the vacuum bag and adding more water and dumping the dirty water is done about once a week. We can tell that the mopping function is doing its job well because before the used water used to be pretty dirty, but quickly it's turned into just slightly murky water due to its constant use. Once a month or two months it notifies you that the cleaning/drying tray should be cleaned, which is just running it through water.
What I don't like about it is that it doesn't do a good job tracking cords and sometimes gets caught up and stops. We've fixed that problem by taping the cords to the walls.
Can we do a better job vacuuming and mopping manually? Of course... But we don't clean every two days and with both parents working and having a 2.5 yo child, the revo has been very helpful to our family.
Roborock S6. Parents have the S7V Max Ultra. The best one you can get. Gets stuck on the carpet all the time. Hits objects, etc. S6 is no match for pet hair. Even after 2 passes. Good for light work, but any REAL cleaning, you are better off using a Dyson for $400. You'll finish the entire house in a fraction of the time the robot can do. $1200 for me to still have to vacuum after is not good. Should be priced under $300 since it can't beat a $400 vacuum.
The whole point is to not have to do anything manually. These will never beat a Dyson but that's not the goal. You might not be the target market.

You probably shouldn't own a nice or car newer than 2002 if you don't have public transit since there is no difference between getting from points to b.
That said the dreame L20 just replaced the s7v max ultra as best combo vac for those with the extra money. These are amazing machine for those with the money but they aren't for everyone or every house.
With 2 dogs this is a huge time saver and worth the cash and forgoing eating out for a while to recoup the money spent. The time saved is worth it for my use case.

I make a ton of money. I'm definitely in the target market at $1200. And even I find $1200 for a robot that does a half-ass job ridiculous. If it actually worked amazing, that's a different story. But, it doesn't. You can buy a used car for $1200 or motorcycle. Think about that.
The whole point is to not have to do anything manual... but I STILL have to do manual cleaning AFTER it cleans. So, why is anyone buying this if it doesn't work as good as an average vacuum?
As I said, it's not for you, so don't buy it. It's that simple. Not sure why you are being so argumentative.

Same... on both Amazon and Roborock site, only the black Q Revo accepts the coupon. They must have low inventory on the white so they aren't discounting as aggressively.
I went ahead with the Black one since the deal is too good to risk not getting one. Black actually looks more "solid/luxury" for this item IMO.
And for the guy who keeps crying that he still has to manually vacuum after, no dude, you don't. These do a great job especially if you have the robot mopping everyday.
If you want what will be the Q Revo Pro, Dreame has their L20 Ultra on their website for 1049.99 with free shipping and no tax. There's also an immediate 10% off coupon you can apply if you're a new buyer. Also they take PayPal you can stack the 5% Freedom Flex category.
Ended up getting the revo. If you look at YouTube reviews, there isn't too much of a performance difference between the revo and the S8. The main thing you really get with the S8 is better obstacle avoidance.
