These pens work great for awhile, then they start skipping badly. I think they dry out if you don't use them fast enough after taking the little round seal off.
1.0mm is thicc. Love these pens though.
I think I'm collecting pens at this point.

True. A few more Slickdeals and I will be able to have them hand out Uniball pens at my funeral.

My house is full of those, and they're slowly driving me mad. I travel a lot for work, attending conferences and conventions. So I have a ton of free promo pens. And half the time I grab one to write something, it doesn't work. And when it does work, there's a 50/50 chance it will give up the ghost mid-task.

I think I'm at a place in my life where I an afford to buy a box of pens. Wink

It's worth the price for the simple comfort of knowing that when I grab a pen, it will probably work.

I like these pens, but like others I've had a lot of issues over the year with them and often only get through like half the ink before the pen fails. I just bought a bunch of staples pens so I'm going to got through them first before deciding if I want to try these again.

I have used Uniball 207 gel pens (0.7mm) for many years and never had a bad one. I only write checks a few times a year. The 207 gel pen attached to my checkbook is always smooth and ready to be used. All of my pens are at least a few years old, so I can't speak for the newest ones. The 0.7mm medium point is perfect for any kind of writing. The 1.0 is too bold/thick.

Ever since I did not renew my Amazon prime, I've saved thousands$$$$$. This is the exact useless deal I would have bought. I rarely even use a pen, and I've been given 100's. If I need a pen a have 2 dozen better pens sitting at my desk. Dump prime and save save save.

We give away those kinda pens at my job so I have thousands available to me... I still spend a few bucks on my own to get a real pen that actually writes and feels much better while doing it. So worth it

Yes, the luxury of having some nice reliable pens to write with every time you need to write something is worth in investment. I took advantage of a deal 3 years back and bought these in a pack of three. I think I paid . 35¢ a pen. Spent like $50 on ton of pens. I'll prob won't need to buy pens for the rest of my professional career

This is correct.
I got several of these sets a few years back on Staples or OD deal and they didn't work after the first few months.
Now I know why
Same here. These pens are great at first but are useless a few months after first use.

The first thing I wondered when I saw the OP was if the 207 Plus+ was also on sale (they are $10.97 for 12-pack with S&S). IMO these are worth the extra they cost.
