Agreed, signed up 1.5 years ago, and the card was stolen, was mailed a new one, then asked me to go through fraud department of the rebate processor. ATT wouldn't reimburse and the rebate processor ask me to talk to ATT, back and forth over a few hours. $300 lost

I signed up yesterday under my wife's name. The service is currently under my name. I chatted with the rep before hand and he informed me he could do all gift cards ($50, $150, $150) all in one (that way I wouldn't have to wait) along with the speaker. After I gave him our addressed, it recognizes there's already service and informed me that if the order was placed, it would automatically be cancelled. They would have to contact the person under the address and see if their service would be terminated, etc (account being me). I just told him that our uncle was moving and was terminating service and that we're putting the service under a new name. He then informed me about the "Transfer of Liability" they do. I just told him, ok I understood and would look into it.

I instead placed the order online and have the equipment setup for delivery on Tuesday (which is the day I the new service start date). I'll just cancel my service the night before and then be setup the next (less downtime).

As of typing this now, my order is still active so here's hoping they fulfill the order so I don't have to cancel with more downtime.

Also for those that don't know, other cashback sites are doing $75 for new service with AT&T, fyi. Makes this deal even sweeter.

I live in a 2 bed apartment and they only have ATT fiber, for some reason ATT or apartment decided that it is good to keep their att provided wifi router at the extreme corner of the apartment. Now I have a weak wifi signal in the other bedroom which is my work place. Reached out to ATT and they want me buy another extender for extra $10 per month to have max coverage for that bedroom. Something doesn't make sense as they installed at the extreme end and now want to pay more for full apartment coverage. Please note that apartment is just a regular 1100 sq ft, nothing fancy.

This reminds me I never got any of the $350 from when I signed up a year or so ago. Is that common? They just don't ever distribute the promotion? Worth trying to chase this down a year later?
