I am always tempted by these Uber one discounts, but I notice when I get Uber one I stop getting the good coupons for orders. And magically once my Uber one subscription expires they flood me with coupons.

Until u realize that we have been getting 40% off coupons once or twice a month for several years now, combined with gift cards deals and restaurants that don't mark up their prices, and it ends up being a slick deal. Plus great for the times where you actually use an Uber. I feel like it genuinely pays for itself

Uber Eats is a ripoff. Between the mark up on food and a bunch of made up charges, it's not worth it.

I have the Amex Platinum and I end up doing a pick up to redeem my monthly $15 credit. For $15, I get maybe $11/12 worth of food.

Nothing in uber app, in UE per another posters suggestion when I went under a specific store I finally saw a promo, but only 17% off, which is not compelling enough to me... I've got it "free" right now on the Cap1 promo, but only have another 6 weeks of that left-- at half off I'd probably keep it but not much more than that.

existing uber one sub. no offer. but if you try to pre-emptively cancel, they are currently offering 40% off at next renewal date if u stay.

Couldn't find it and saw someone found a banner under Costco. I don't have Costco on mine but looked through others and found 90 days free and $48 annual under Raleys

So it looks like annual price may be going up to $120. I checked my app and the offer now said 60% off, which still brings the sale price to $48

I've found the exact opposite to be true. Whenever I've had an issue with an order (missing or damaged item), Ubereats has always had an immediate and satisfactory response. Doordash is hit or miss with their response and in general harder to get a hold of a response. Additionally, I find the delivery people on Ubereats to be more polite and follow directions better. I once had a Doordash driver deliver my meal to the wrong apartment building. I could see it happening in real time. I called the driver to intercept him and he said it was my fault, too bad and hung up. It took an hour to get a response from Doordash. The Doordash app is not as slick as Ubereats and they make it really difficult to contact customer service after the delivery happens. Nothing like this has ever happened with Ubereats. Having said this I still use Doordash occasionally since I have a Dashpass and promos through Chase.

My promo was even better. 90 days free and then 60% off first year so $48 till 2/24/25. Pretty good deal.

Thanks, switched from monthly to annual. I fly for work every week and with the cashback, just a single uber ride makes it worth the fees.

My account gave me this deal plus a 90 day free trial before the first discounted charge. Very cool, when combined with the 40% off coupons on Uber Eats (inconsistent though they are). At under 4 dollars a month, I'll easily save that much with the occasional Uber trip or meal order. Surprised they made this offer available to me since I've used so many cheap membership promos already in past years (the PayPal one for 1.66 a month was dope).

Went ahead and re-subbed…. 90 days free, billing begins 2/17/24 at $48 annual… BUT some odd 1.38$ charge came across the transom? Is that just a source of funds verification?

From my anecdotal experience I get the coupons regularly once per week, but when I start using them, I get less. If I don't order for a while, I get more.
