Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I bought it at Walmart at this price point just now. Comes out to $408 using my Walmart Capital One card. If a better deal comes up in the next month or so, I'll return it. I don't have a Target or Best Buy, so this is the best deal I can get at the moment without any return hassles.

Serious question. Since you know it's not the best deal...why share it?
Not everyone might be able to buy from Target or want a $75 Target Gift Card. Others might have Walmart gift cards they might want to use. It also serves as a record for price history.
When investigating if a price is actually good I often search slickdeals to see old sales. This would be a good reference post.

Nothing beats the Verizon Series S deal for $149.

A deal is a deal. And some people might have reasons for choosing Walmart over Target. Why can't we all be cheap together?
