Quick Google search showing a more realistic everyday pricing of about $18 for this unit, still a solid deal at THIS price, just adding context for the $34.72 "retail price" comparative.

These lights are great to put in the kids backpacks so they can be the "classroom
Hero" in a power outage.

Great little light. I have one in pink as I have no shame and it makes it easier to find.

At only 45 lumen, what's the intended use for something with such a low output?

Nostalgia? Pre LED era, stream light was cutting edge. All of these are at least 3x as bright

This was my EDC flashlight for quite a while until I moved up to the 350 lumen rechargeable version. Both are great EDC flashlights.

45 Lumen and it's a deal.... there are 2000 lumen deals for little extra and even smaller. I would try Home depot deals. They were even hybrid

If this is exactly like the flashlight I've had for years, a 10440 battery makes it super bright.

Surprised that it's only rated for 2.25 hours of use. I get that AAA doesn't provide much power, but the hassle of replacing batteries makes this insufficient as an EDC for me.

Wouldn't most elementary kids have a cellphone nowadays with flash as light?

I've had one of these for a long time. It has withstood a lot of abuse and still works, but a modern cell phone does the same thing and is more convenient to carry.

I use it to usher at stadiums as it is not too bright to disturb others viewing the show.
