An M18 rocket only puts out 8k lumens and costs twice the price.

You don't make sense.

You mean the tiny M12 $130 1,400 lumen light vs a $99 10,000 lumen light?

Have this thing and love it. I don't use it often, but when I use it, I'm darn glad I have it.

For example: when painting another coat in a poorly lit room, this can be moved around so you can tell what you've painted already and what you haven't. Working in a dark enclosed space (like under the kitchen sink). Replacing ceiling tiles in the basement and installing can lights (power must be off for this).

Could you use a corded light for this stuff? Usually, but these activities often require repositioning. Plus, the equivalent brightness is not that far away from $100.

Plus, if you have long power outages, this thing lasts forever on low settings.

How long does it last with a 5ah battery at 10,000 lumens?

I ran this yesterday while cleaning out my shed/backyard since it's dark by 4pm now. Super useful. Was outside for 2 hours and ran it with my 7.5ah battery with no issues. Barely took one tick.

I already have three ego batteries so I'll get this. Has five brightness settings and the 10,000 lumen claim is kind of meh. You can run for an hour on 10,000 and then it switches to the 6400 lumen setting. Run time at 10,000 lumen is directly influenced by air temp. Per the manual

35hours at low output. I would like to know the answer at max output. My guess is less than an hour.

I typically use a 5ah battery with it, but almost never need to run it full blast. I usually have it on medium or medium-high, and I tend to get several hours of battery life, sometimes over the span of a few days, between charges.

I love this light, and can say that at this price, it's well worth it if you have any Ego batteries. The only thing I wish it had, vs competitor options, is a plugin option so you don't have to run it only on battery. Some of my other shop lights I've used have that option and it's really nice.

I have enough Ego batteries and the battery life is good enough that it hasn't been an issue. Just would be nice.

Excellent light, especially at this price.

It runs for days on lower settings. The 10,000 (boost) is dependent on the air temp, it'll go back to high after an hour or so. Personally, I don't find the difference between high (~6500lm) and boost to be all that noticable where I've used it. Maybe outside you'd benefit from that more.

wow awesome price for such a cool device. I used it for
- painting
- inspection of my attic
- replacing old power outlets
- light when we had power outage
- taking photos of stuff for sale on ebay

the downside this beast is very heavy and the hook it comes with are pretty useless- i wish i could hang it on attic but I could not.
