my dell with a 10th gen intel does not specifically say it can charge usbc and came with a normal dell brick
but it will charge when i plug in a usbc and the symbol next to is is only the dp logo.
hard to believe this wont do the same thing, but i dont have any proof
this is a great price for a 12th gen but ive grown to accustomed to touch screens in my laptops

I also concur with the other comment. I believe the Inspiron 15's support charging via USB C (a vast majority of modern laptops do) however the USB C port probably does not accept enough power to fast charge and under under heavy load might still discharge (but you'll greatly extend battery life).

I too think it is wasteful to supply a barrel type charger when plenty of other laptops come with USB C chargers that supply 200+ watts of power.

Like most of the other Dell Inspiron laptops (with the 41Wh battery), this may include a 2.5" SSD HD SATA space with caddy and cable for extra storage expansion.

Same CPU, RAM and SSD. Not sure if the HP allows adding more RAM but this Dell can. If you have the Amex offer, this Dell is cheaper by $40. Staples would be easier to return the HP if you don't like it though.
