That's funny - for me, non-touchscreen is a feature.

To each his own, but I think touchscreen sucks. It just gets my laptop, looking messy, and the trackpad and gestures are good enough. And any touchscreen will suck up more battery, and generally have more glare in the sunlight.

I agree that it is very useful but for a productivity machine I'd prefer not. No fingerprints and a thinner and lighter device.

Good price for an extremely light weight, but high end processor, laptop. I have been tempted in the past by these LG Gram models each time I walked past them at Costco.

This isn't the touch screen model. This one has more RAM though.

Been looking at laptops and lots of reviews have mentioned the softly built chassis - keyboard area has a lot of give when pressed on. May need to take that into consideration when you purchase since these things are not listed in the specs

Excellent work/school laptop, large screen extremely light and fast. We use ours daily, and it has been awesome.

Exactly I can't figure why anyone thinks a touchscreen laptop is desirable.

god damn it. i bought the Costco 16/512 for 800. This 32/1tb configuration for $200 more seems more ideal.

Scrolling a page, etc lol just alot of stuff you can do with touch that's way easier/ faster/ more convenient than a keyboard

The touch screen version of the 17s have a heavy screen and doesn't feel sturdy at all.

Why would you think like that? You don't need to use the touch. But it's there there is need be. For example if you need to have physical signature for documents then you don't need to print it.
