The last time (this year) GWL had a good promo, it was a mess to purchase. There was an impossibly long waiting room to purchase.

You did it right. It's part of their system now and it's awful. I'm assuming it's a method to get people to impulse book because "it took you 6 hours to get in don't want to miss out!" Truly an awful booking experience for mediocre pricing at best.

We enjoyed our GWL trip last time but booked through Groupon without all the hassle of the incredibly annoying virtual waiting room. Their website is an absolute mess on "deal" days and has always resulted in finding out it's not really a deal.

I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Do they count for daily resort fee or is there a minimum age.

Never heard of these places. Are they all indoor and heated area and pools? Would be kinda fun to take my family during the winter time if that's the case

Indoor/ Outdoor only in the summer. My e y/o loves the lazy river and water slides. Older kids love the magiquest game and dance party at night

I really wanted to HATE GWL, but we took our kids last year with my sister's family and I'll admit, it was pretty fun. They will nickel and dime you on some stuff, but if you are smart about eating and other activities, this can be a great weekend idea in the middle of winter.

Indoor mostly. Climate controlled environment and heated pools. We went during a big storm and it was around 80 inside while we watch a storm rage through their bay windows outside.

They have drastically increased the resort fee. We had fun when we went on a deal before, but definitely not worth the price after the resort fee is added.

Get ready to be queued for hours! Last time they had a one day major sale I left the browser on and it told me my estimated wait time was 1 hour. It was 4.5 hours. When I finally got in the deals were worse than when we went the previous year.
