Assuming this is still the same quality: Owned a version of this from Costco for about 8 years now. Daily use, only needs charging once every two weeks or so, still razor sharp. Have used it for facial hair and cutting regular hair. Considering it one of those life's best buys with a completely straight face.

I have had one of these for at least five years from a previous Costco deal. The battery seems to last forever. The wide clipper mentioned before was for trimming hair and came with some tapered guides for the sides of the head.

I have owned this for quite a while. It is nice aside from the fact that the on/off button is placed in a way that makes it way too easy to unintentionally press.

How is this for groin and anus area?
It's also a body groomer, so with a body guard should definitely work for groin area

Currently using the multi groom 3000. I shave my head without a guard once in awhile with it but it takes multiple passes. Also do the same for trimming stubble facial hair and then follow up with rotary razor and razor and cream. Got the 3000 for under $20 at bestbuy. Is the 9000 worth upgrading to mainly for head shaving and face stubble? I don't like the 3000 has no indicator while charging. I just usually charge it overnight

Just here to chime in. This is a great quality trimmer. I'm Middle Eastern so pretty familiar with hair to deal with often 😅. I don't even think about charging or worry about it. It takes a lot less passes than my previous Phillips trimmer.
The main Con I have for it is all the heads that come with it. Annoying to keep track of. My last trimmer had a built in adjustable one but was less accurate. Oh and, yeah the power button is in an annoying place, but I've only turned it off accidentally maybe twice.

All in all though, I'm really happy with it. No regrets and it took me like a year to finally switch to a new trimmer (this one).

Got this on Amazon several years ago. Best trimmer I've owned by far. Use this weekly for facial hair and head. The button is annoyingly positioned but not a deal breaker for me .

Bought this last time it was on sale. I found the quality and value remarkable. Only annoyance is that the markings on the plastic guards are hard to read. Other than that, great trimmer!

What's the wide groomer? Can you buy it separately?
The wide groomer is an attachment with blades that are about half an inch wider than the regular one shown in the picture. When you do big tasks, like shaving your beard, your head, etc., that wider groomer saves a ton of time.
I think they replaced it with that body trimmer, which might be useful but not more than the wide groomer, at least for me.
I bought this same one from Amazon on Black Friday last year, for less than $40. The Amazon one did come with the wide groomer.

Do you remember how much it was the last time it was on sale? I bought it too during last sale in anticipation of my older Philips trimmer dying out (it felt like it was on its last leg), but it's still going and I've never opened this new one. Still sitting in its original box in the garage. If this current sale price is significantly less than the previous sale price, maybe I will return and re buy.

Just had another Phillips norelco trimmer (looks very similar to this) break. I'm never buying this brand again. The internal mechanism that twirls gets stuck. You press the power button and it won't engage to on. I've had this happen multiple times now with P-N. It's a crap design. I use my trimmer rarely too. I don't use any water. Dry cutting only.

just a warning for when it happens to you too.

Bought this last time it was on sale. While things are good trimmer, it isn't as powerful as it should be. I am keeping mine, but I regret the purchase.

I've had this similar model for over 5 years. I use it about 1-2 times a week. This can go months without charging. When I moved out of my house I left the charger. I didn't have to go back home for it for 4 months. The battery is just that good

Some "buyer beware" info: I have this trimmer, and it works very well for 2+ years now. The fist one I got had an issue after one week, and I was told that the attachments are NOT covered by the warranty at all. Kinda shady given that the attachment blades are the most important parts. Luckily for me, the issue was actually with the main handle, so it got replaced. Maybe this is standard for trimmer warranties, because the attachments are wear parts, but figured I'd let people know.

Got 3 years use out of mine. Started having a mind of it's own...
It would randomly turn on in the middle of the night, or odd times throughout the day. Sometimes it would charge, sometimes not.
I could get power to it...start shaving, turn it off. And then it wouldn't turn back on. A bit silly to just be able to trim half your beard!
Are you sure it is a trimmer or vibrator ?
