It might be good to mention in the main post that these batteries have absolutely nothing to do with any of the flashlights from this deal. And CR123A batteries aren't a very common battery size, so many people may have no use for them at all. By all means get them if you have a use for them, but otherwise maybe leave them for others who could actually use them. They aren't like AA or AAA where you could use them for a bunch of things. I think that some people may jump to conclusions and think that they're getting extra batteries for the flashlight they're ordering, but that's not the case.

Basically, they're very bright little lights and extremely tiny. The whole flashlight is basically the size of an AA battery. You can find cheaper lights like the HF freebies, but they're not nearly as tiny. I carry one on my keychain and it's pretty unobtrusive. And you can find other tiny little keychain lights, but they usually don't put out anywhere near the light that these do (not ones for $5 anyway)

The i3e is ONLY for new customers. If you placed an order before you get the shorter charging light. So if you want the i3e you have to make another account.

No, the i3E is for new customers OR if you purchase less than $5 previously. You will get the better flashlights if you purchase more than $5 previously.

I've done this many times and they say the same thing and I've gotten the i3E each time. I also have gotten the batteries , which I use in Ring sensors.

It's not really a $5 light. It's far better made than the average throwaway LED, very small, and bright for its size. I've given them as gifts and had people ask where to get replacement batteries because they don't look big enough to hold a AAA, but that's the battery it takes.

People who've ordered from Olight before get the i1R 2 Pro, an even better light. Still very small, but built-in rechargeable battery, USB-C charging, two brightness levels, and the end doesn't come off the body.

I have the rechargeable on my keychain. One was from 2019 micro usb and other on usb c. Holds charge well and make a perfect gift.

Getting everytime on sale for gift. Getting the ithx, looks good.

Just not sure if I want to get i3e eos on other account.

I get tired of all olights hoops to get anything.
They offer things but on specific days, rather than offering all their sales at once "check back tomorrow".
Then they do coupon code giveaways with free expensive flashlights, I have never ever seen someone actually win anything but a coupon code, you used to be able to watch on your screen what people were winning, it was always coupon codes.

Then they do the olight coin thing.. it's not explained well wth that is exactly... Am I eventually going to get free stuff? Or is it just some weird customer silver vs gold tier thing which offers slight perks if I spend a stupid amount of money with them?

Don't get me wrong, olight flashlights are great. But they have all these dumb sales gimmicks for what amounts to a $10 flashlight for free after you've added something else to your cart.

Typical Chinese company, they assume all Americans want a complicated confusing las Vegas strip type shopping experience.

They need to get rid of the coins, get rid of the bait n switch giveaways and need to just do honest deals for the entire month rather than one stupid deal a day.

Question for all you folks who have these mini flashlights.
What do you typically use them for?

I assume most of us have smartphones with the LED light which performs well for most flashlight tasks (does the phone light drain the battery fast?)
