The GoPro 12/11 has a higher resolution (5K), but the OSMO has a better sensor, a bigger battery, and does not get hot.
Another big thing is the accessories, most are not compatible.
All in all, they are very similar in a lot of features, most of the differences are in the fringe of the capabilities of the camera.
