Series 8 SS at Target. A couple options.
Checked out the watch yesterday at Apple Store ($429) and the beautiful girl there took her time to explain all the neat things you can do with the watch. Would've bought it right there and then, but the particular watch I wanted was out of stock.
Only became interested in the Apple Watch because my doctor told me last week that the watch actually helped save one of his patients because it detected an irregular heart beat and the person was able to get to a hospital in time, on his own. For that reason alone, I am selling off a classic Swiss Army nightvision watch and an LL Bean field watch in favor of the Apple Watch.
I tried to price match (in store) the Target one and they said no cause it says "online only", I said ok how about Amazon, they said sure. Then I got $235 credit for my Series 8. Ended up like $149 total.

I was talking to the employee and somehow it came up that they don't do price matching on Black Friday because something about all discounts/deals being 'exclusive', so not sure what the person in your chat was referencing.
