I was able to get target to price match wonder through their online chat. Might be worth a try for anyone that does not have stock nearby

Sadly, no store nearby appears to have Super Mario RPG, which is at the top of my list of newer releases. I did manage to place a pickup order for Super Mario Bros. Wonder though. Thanks for the heads-up on this!

Nice find! I was able to put in an order for Mario Wonder at a store that's just a decent country drive away. Supposedly 1 ToTK was available but I've already got that. I'm waiting to see if my order gets cancelled as it initially showed Wonder as available but when I tried buying, it said none were but when I tried again, it went through 🤔

Congrats to anyone able to utilize these deals.

For Mario Wonder's, took me one time with Target Online Rep. The rep adjusted the price on the website while the item was in my cart before I made the purchase so I bought 2 copies with the price adjustment.

Mario RPG, it took me 3 times before the 3rd Target online rep gave me the price match.

I ended up getting 2 copies of the Wonders and 1 copy of RPG for $40 each.

Target said they couldn't price match because they weren't in stock. Then they decided to price match one of them since I was a loyal customer randomly

Similar experience with first target rep with OOS reason. But the second rep was lenient enough and got me the $40 deal on totk.

Try multiple reps in target app online chat. Have the games in your cart first then try your pricematch discussion.

I was able to get my local Target in WA to price match Staples for Mario RPG even though it was showing OOS and not available for shipping anywhere near me. I was just nice and had some small talk on way to register. It helps some times as at first she was hesitant about being able to do it but then rang it up without issue. Good luck to rest of you guys. I would get Wonder but fill like that one will be purchasable and get a discount quicker than Mario RPG as I can see that one going out of print sooner than Wonder.

Buy on target.com and then immediately had them price match through chat. Took only a couple of minutes. Great find! Appreciate the heads up

First 2 reps didn't price match due to OoS. Third one didn't even care and just told me to place the order and refunded the difference.

Best Buy would not price match due to BF. Target price matches no issue on 11/19 7pm central time

Target customer support through their app couldn't price match, but offered a 20% discount as courtesy which brought mario rpg to $48 before tax.

Spoke to a Target rep who at first couldn't find any in stock at Staples but eventually made a 1 time exception for both games.

Try it again. It was probably just that rep. I was able to get it price matched

I also chatted with a Target rep online who could not price match since Staples did not have the item in stock for shipping. She did, however, offer me a $20 refund after making the purchase, which seems to have come through according to e-mail confirmation. Seriously YMMV!
