Why not just get it from tmobile for $0 if your getting the cellular version? Would be pointless to get it with cellular and not have a plan..?

Looks like you need to add the "premium" Apple digits line which is $15/month…and the 44mm is $1.25/month after the promo which is a 24 month credit. Does T-Mobile still give you the remaining credit if you pay off early?

No they don't. At least they don't with iPhones. If you pay off the phone early, you lose the bill credits. Their way of guaranteeing that you don't skip carriers early. Not sure if it's the same with the Watch, but it's reasonable to assume the same.

I paid our iPhone 12's off early and still got the bill credits for the remainder of the 24 months. But that was because I was trading it in, otherwise there is no reason to pay it off as it is zero interest.

I did the T-Mobile deal on the 40mm gps+cellular with bill credits last month so it was free and they offered me $5 off on the monthly with digits plan so paying 10/month for the line with autopay. They also waived the activation fee by crediting me back $25 on my next bill.

Did it through chat and the rep offered the discounted line so you can prob do it also

Having additional line is optional. But LTE enabled watch can be setup as family watch so your family member can use it without having an iPhone.

I saw stock at multiple stores in the Orange County area. Several said only one or two in stock and this was about an hour after it started

I was told that I need a data only plan and can't add a voice plan for the stand alone iPhone cellular watch.
