Great sound quality and price. But beware the mic echos a lot! Haven't found a way around the echo yet and tons of reviews online state the same issue.

In multiplayer gaming its a huge issue. You can remove the boom mic altogether and it fixes the issue.

I was lucky to buy 8 of these at $3 when walgreens (or cvs?) Clearanced them out.

If you have a problems with earbuds falling out of your ear you will with these. The design is terrible it's too heavy and falls out of my ears I've tried every combo of tips the sound and mic quality is good though no issues with mic but I haven't used it with the mic attached. I have the altec Lansing buds as well and while similar they are not as heavy and work better for me. If the steel series tusq ever come down in price I'll grab those.

That's exactly what I do! The boom mic is faulty. Echos like crazy while play FPS like cod. But the quality is superb. I have the platinums for ps5 if I wanna game seriously but these suffice 90% of the time.

fix the echo by detaching the mic? then how are you using the mic? or are you saying just use it as an earphone at this point?

The echo is a hard pass for me to detach the microphone to overcome the echo makes this a pointless purchase because you can just buy regular earbuds at that point.

It still picks up your speech and it's clear as day. When I had it on, everyone told me there was echo and it sounded like I was talking out of a can. then Id remove it and ppl said I was clear.

Regular earbuds typically aren't the same from my experiences of about 10 different earbuds, and even many headsets.

The only other earbuds that were above average, near perfect were some cheapest $30 buds by Sony. They sounded better than these TB, but they didn't have the mute on/off switch, nor a volume control that is much easier than going into the menu. Those were actually as clear as a $200 pair of TB Elite pro tournament headphones I had.

It's surprising that the boom causes echo and that after yrs it hasn't been fixed. I've had 2 other brands of identical loomking earbuds and they both had the exact same issue.

Regardless of the earbuds , if you want a better MP gaming experience even with so-so buds, on Xbox (maybe PS), try the Atmos app on ur Xbox. It offers a gaming preferences with dynamic directional sound. It's free for 7 days. And the last few years on BF, it's typically on sale for $10 for lifetime use.

I have a couple of these from a previous sale. They were even cheaper then and still weren't a deal. They sound terrible, the mic sounds terrible. I initially got them for online work meetings but realized I prefer just about anything else to them.

I second this, the battle buds fall out of my ear within 5 seconds. I can't use any headphones that're in-ear. If this sounds like you, unfortunately these won't work.

Yeah, I also bought a few from a few years ago, the build quality is awful.

They only fit into one type of ear canal (yes, ear canals have sizes), and they start to become really uncomfortable after an hour.

I'd suggest buying a lightweight headphone instead. I've been using my Logitech light headset for a few years now, no ear/neck pain at all.
