What is the difference between Tide Free and Gentle and Tide Simply Free and Sensitive?
Tide Free and Gentle HE Laundry Detergent Liquid
A: Both will give you the Tide clean you love, but are free of dyes and perfumes. Our Tide Simply line is made with a different formulation of cleaning ingredients, and doesn't contain specific stain-targeting enzymes.
* Just so you know it is different formula from free and gentle line ,I still purchased it to use for lightly soiled clothes and gentle cycle clothes !

I don't know how laundry detergent manufacturers get away with this. "Fluorescent brighteners" are dyes. There are only a few detergents that are really "free and clear". The best list I've found is at this website: https://yourclothdiaper
The only detergents I can commonly find at stores that are really "free and clear" are Seventh Generation, and Atsko Sport-Wash which is very expensive and usually in the hunting section. Walmart used to have a store brand but they discontinued it.
Why is this important? If you want your dark clothes to stay dark, and not get dingy and faded-looking as you wash them, you have to use detergent that is actually "free and clear." If you don't mind scented detergent, you can use Woolite Dark.

Why the container does not have the "he" label?

Tide is but this is not regular tide. Its Tide Simply which performs much worse than Purex.

AGAIN this deal is "Tide Simply"; it only scored a 38. Only 1 point higher than Xtra.
