Obviously this is hit or miss, but I've found these bands in different styles at various TJ Maxx and Marshall's stores for $18 in recent months. Worth keeping an eye out.

I sweat a LOT, and I found that these worked best for me because they don't slip and slide like the standard ones the 8 series and earlier come with. I returned the one I got last time because it wasn't worth $50 and I didn't care for the color/design. I tried some cheap copies and they all irritated my skin, but I have sensitivities.

I haven't tried the Nike version, but that is what I got this time around as it has some added grip and a tag similar in function to the trail loop.

My favorite is an Alpine Loop copy under $10 that fits 45mm as the Apple ones are only for the Ultra. And it's the dark purple color I love: https://a.co/d/7GK5Sum

Yes, these fit the ultra perfectly - ignore the other reply. I have an ultra and use the sport loops and sport bands all of the time. The ultra bands will also fit the 45mm watch. You cannot however interchange the 41mm and 45mm.
