Not really besides the GFX and different view. They kept it pretty faithful which is good in some ways, but also being true to the original, very slow menu and UI

I really struggle with old UI and clunky systems of yore.
It ruined playing FFT again for me.
Oh well, plenty of other games to play and I DID already play / beat this one back in the day.
