Makes sense. Had a 256 gb PNY in my note 20 and after a year my phone would tell me that the SD card was read only

after it become read only, if i want to transfer the files out, it's still possible, right? files are not corrupted or anything?

Ordered one a few hours ago for delivery Monday the 27th (prime day) so I could see if anything better comes up over Black Friday and cancel if it does.
