there are too many different models. dumb of dyson to make so many models. how many models does one need? they don't they just do two, one high end one low end? there are dozens of dyson vacuums. really dumb and makes it confusing. it shouldn't be so confusing to buy a vacuum. making me consider buying another type of vacuum.
Dysons are horrible. I went through two V10s within one year. Battery quality degrades very fast.
I have D35, one of the first ones made from 2012 and it's still going strong. Replaced the battery once and have no issues. The head is breaking from wear and tear but it still can suck a golf ball through a garden hose like your mother.
Kohl's is not $280, you cannot conflate Kohl's cash with real Cold cash!
QVC new customer offer for v11 is the best deal currently.
Hundreds of dollars more for v15, to get what!? Gimmicky lights and things that in no way justify the MASSIVE cost difference, none of the other models remove dirt significantly better than v11.
But v11 does outperform cheaper brands enough to justify the $270 to $280 price at QVC minus huge cashback deals from click through and 5% off PayPal through Chase.
QVC deal cashback was not approved for me due to coupon use. I know 280$ is still better price. I would not consider kohls cash as real cash may be 50% or less at best. It shows 105$ kohls cash and 26$ kohls rewards is that correct for everyone? I bought QVC now debating if I should return based on Kohls deal return. Any advice? The R site rejected my cashback and target store wouldn't price match QVC
QVC deal is for brand new customers only, not for existing accounts. You need to both use a brand new account, as well as the QVC coupon. Cashback worked for me on top of this. Try clearing cookies, cache, or use a new browser.

I've had two Dyson vacuums over about 15 years with no significant issues; about ten years on first one—second one going strong. Dyson even replaced wear and tear parts outside of warranty for free.
I AM interested in a Dyson, but being new to the Dyson ecosystem I have no clue which model to get. And Dyson does NOT make it easy. There website is terrible and you cannot easily compare the dozens of models they actively sell. It's a PITA. Just because some folks may be critical about your beloved Dyson there is no need to think they are trolling. Why don't you help instead of complaining about these critical posts?
The whole ordeal is putting me off buying a Dyson. Might get the Samsung instead.
Dyson makes it extremely easy. You can easily compare the machines on their website and they even have a little quiz you can take and it recommends a couple models that would work for you.

Also, i much prefer the power button on the V12 than the v15 trigger.
