I like the v8 Absolute... older model but it gets the job done, is cheaper, and lots of 3rd party stuff/parts available for it.

Where'd you get them from? What failed? My refurb V6 has lasted 5 years now and I wish it would die so I could justify a new one.

Not as good as previous sales. Iirc, the floor dok was included as the free tool last BF. I've seen deals over the last 6 months that included more accessories at the same price point.

Reufurb v10 absolute is good price point. Can always get an adapter for cordless drill batteries if the stock battery goes bad.

Have had Dyson products - vacuums, fans, hair dryer, for over 10 years combined. I have experienced no issues with a Dyson product literally ever.

I've had issues with Dyson and customer service was like slamming my testicles in the sliding door of a 1998 Dodge Caravan.

When they work they're great, if you have issues YMMV but it wasn't a fun time.

That being said don't run it on Max setting all the time and keep it away from excessive heat/cooling cycles and they're great. Have a V8 Absolute that I love and is still kicking it after plenty of heavy daily use. It's not going to replace your standard corded and you best believe that "fade free suction/power" is a load of marketing wank. You use it, you empty it, and you clean it just like everything else.

Other options on the market other than dyson that do just as good if not a better job, check out Vacuum Wars on Youtube for their really good no BS roundup on suction and how they perform on various surfaces. Ultimately what got me to pull the trigger on a Dyson and I'm glad I finally did (and waited till it was non insanity pricing).

I ordered it directly from Dyson last Black Friday sale. Worked great for the first 2 months then battery died. Took it to a local Dyson center and repair guy said battery is dead. He ordered another replacement for me then 3 months later, that battery died as well. Dyson sent me another one which is fine but I can't turn it on at high settings or else the battery just dies lol. Decided to get the Tineco A11 Hero. All I can say is WOW! best cordless vacuum I've used.
