I had a similar unit a few years ago I bought on sale, wound up reselling it a few years later (after using it for a few projects) for more than what I paid for it. Stored it using iron pipe and fittings on the ceiling of the garage.
Same again without the wheels.

The optional shelving, I-CISSU, is $101.99 at my local home depot. I got one of those as well. (Does anyone have a cheaper alternative to use in it's place?)
at 6x6x2.5 feet with wheels, this *should* be ideal for storing the Sams club tote boxes.
The scaffolding and 1,000 pound capacity for my purpose are nice to have extras.
(The "scaffolding" part may be used at a karaoke house party this coming holiday season.)
Thank you!
As long as you don't mind assembling it every time you use it, it's easy enough to store against any wall.

That's smaller than 6ft
- The scaffold can be dissembled and stored flat.
- The metal part of the scaffold can be stored outside, but the deck is made of plywood and cannot be left exposed to the elements.
I'd be inclined to make sure the deck is never exposed to rain, though I didn't read anything about that one way or the other. But if you must store the deck outside, make sure it is protected.
