I got the one with the starlight band because it was in stock, and it was a terrible decision.

If you put it in a dust-free, sealed-off jewelry case, it will still find a way to get dirty.

Yep, I love my orange one but goddamn it gets dirty all the time. I just pretty much wear my Milanese loop or leather link most of the time now.

That's pretty much given. If you want an orange band, you gotta go with the Hermes leather, haha.

Orange ocean band that came with my Ultra 2 doesn't get dirty.

Low key ordered the white ocean band ultra by mistake. Turns out to be the most versatile. The adjustment gaps are closer and easy to clean off the dirt build up.

Only issue is not everyone likes the silicon feel on your wrist all the time. But easier to manage with moisture compared to fabric bands

Thanks, was about to buy from Mercari for not too much less. Ended up using target because returning apple products to Amazon is a nightmare (hopefully fits fine). Currently have a trail loop and although it's incredibly comfortable, I really like the look of the alpine.

I have the braided solo loop in blue. Have it for 18 months. Paid $ 99 at Apple. Best band I've ever had, both for comfort and ease of putting it on your wrist. I have washed it twice in the washer and then dryer. Came out like new and tightened up again. Will get another.

Caution. Getting the right size is a challenge. Based on comments, I ordered one two sizes smaller than the Apple measuring tape on the website. Tight at first, quickly become perfect. Ordered three differed solo for my wife, ( silicon not braided), she couldn't get the fit right. Returned to Apple. Apple seems to be the only retailer that sells them. That's probably due to the sizing difficulty and large number of returns due to sizing. The band is a single piece and goes over your hand. No fastening needed.

I expect the life span to be two years.

I have a yellow ocean band also and I liked it a lot at first but after awhile I found it uncomfortable at times because it doesn't breath at all. Now I just keep it for any activities that include water or working out etc and wear my other bands for day to day stuff.
