How well does it work for a Nest Hello vs Google Nest doorbell? Can I leave this at my entryway and will it just show who's out front?
My house is mostly HomeKit, but just for a doorbell/camera view I'd get one at the door. It

Yes. I have a Hello and this and it ll instantly show a stream of who is at the door when its pressed with options to respond etc. you can also ask Google to show the front door or whatever you have it called at any time and stream it without trigger from the outside.

I'm not seeing the option to sign up for the $10 email. It's a brand new Gmail account so it's definitely not been done before.

Lots of people have issues with this where the screen forms heavy green streaks after a few months. It works but it's very annoying if you use the screen for anything other than a clock.

Mine happened right around 14 months or so, clearly is a hardware issue given the amount of posts on Google Support about it. They offered me to buy a new one from the store so in other words, you won't get any help from Google outside of the 12m warranty.

I don't see Google supporting this ecosystem for much longer. That's just my personal opinion based on my experience with my JBL link view, where Google has been deprecating features over the past few months
