nice find. i thought i got a good at acme when i paid $260. this is really good. too lazy to do the return/cancel circle jerk to save $30. otherwise i'd be all over this. +rep

Can someone walk me through the "hack"? Do you have to wait until the impact wrench ships before cancelling the other item? Or do you cancel right after you place the order for both items?

I ship the item I want to my local store and then then the item I'm going to cancel to a separate store. You should be able to cancel it within the first 15 minutes. If you ship them both to the same store, you have to cancel the whole order.

and thinking is impossible for you. it's not as simple as subtracting. i still have to pay to return the impact from acme. their returns aren't free. and i still have to drive to HD to pick up this thing or return the extra tools. in the end the difference will be les than $30

Yes, if lug nuts on passenger cars and trucks is all your using this for just get a mid torque. It's much lighter and way more power then you need for lug nuts. If your taking lugs off a big truck, bus or semi that's a different story.

Tri-LEDs surround the anvil to deliver brighter light with fewer shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF control applies no more than 50 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control that delivers users full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops. The ½" Friction Ring design allows for quick & tool-free socket changes.
