The cells in this battery will degrade much, much faster than the LifePO4 cells in the Delta 2, which is the newer model. Lithium has an expected lifetime of 300-400 charges, and 3 years. LiFePO4 have an expected lifetime of 10 years, with 4,000-15,000 charges before the battery capacity drops to 80%. The Delta 2 comes with a 5 year warranty. It's also on sale for barely more than this Delta 1000, $649 new on Ecoflow's website, OR Ecoflow offers the same full 5 year warranty on refurbished models, which are currently $599 on their website or $479 on eBay from the Ecoflow official store. IMO, and having purchased a few refurbished units from Ecoflow, save $20 and buy the refurbished Delta 2 instead of the new old tech Delta 1000. It will last longer and has a longer warranty from Ecoflow, 5 years vs 2 years.

About the same cost to make one. This is more convenient but home made kits are more expandable and you can replace individual parts if they go bad.
I.E. 100 AH LiFePO4 battery $200, inverter $200 and charger $60.
Was curious, found it at $489 at Newegg and you can order today.
The 1200 watt is $549 at Lowe's. Edit: Not sure what the DELTA portion means, so my reference may be different than OP. My apologies if that's the case.

First gen - uses Li-Ion cells and not LiFePO4. It's lighter than the newer ones (higher power density), but the cells will degrade faster.

Uses Nickle based lithium ion cells. Iron based cells are more robust. Saying "Li-Ion cells" doesn't tell us anything because LFP cells are still Li-Ion cells.

The more precise term is cycles not charges.
According to Ecoflow :
A charging cycle refers to the process of fully charging a battery from 0% to 100% and then discharging it back to 0%.

160W refurb portable solar panel is $128! I paid $180 last year and I was thrilled with that price!

If people are intending to use these in power outages, the number of cycles won't matter as much.
In addition before the 3000 cycles of the LiFePO4 battery is reached, the person likely has moved on to some other "better" thing.
