Was able to trade-in my Pixel 7 Pro 128GB for $315 towards the $799 sale price of a Pixel 8 Pro 128GB.

Trade in was close to $200 at launch and while the watch was "free", the phone was $900. I didn't want the watch (still too buggy) and wasn't going to risk the potential low ROI of flipping it.

I traded in my Pixel 7 for a Pixel 8 Pro on launch day for $325. Trades for the flagships weren't great, but they weren't as terrible as $200.

For future reference, it's important to do a search on SD before making claims on trade-in prices. That's why there's all the TD and why I made a comment. Trade-in prices on release day are well documented. While I posted that deal on the day pre-orders started, I didn't pull the trigger until just before the phone released and the trade in prices were still the same.
