Imo Eyebuydirect has more variety for smaller faces, without having to step down to kids sizes which have shorter temples.

Isn't zenni optical used to be cheaper?
Yeah, I remember $20 frames and lens from Zenni when they were a new company. Their frame selections was larger too. I bought a few; most of them were crappy plastic like the quality of reading glasses from Dollar Store.

I love Zenni! We've been wearing them for years. I just placed an order for a new pair of progressives and a mid range pair. Way cheaper than Lenscrafters even with our insurance and a better selection of lenses, I like bright fun colors. The 30% was awesome to have, perfect timing!

they have phone apps to help figure out your PD if you are having issues measuring it yourself in a mirror.
Rather than the approximate methods, I wanted to know my PD exactly, so I went to some third-party provider and paid for them to do it (My medical provider wouldn't do it, as they wanted control over the prescription and subsequent profit off of super expensive frames). For $80, a Lens Crafters type place gave me a fresh prescription with the PD. I also asked them to include a separate prescription for "computer glasses" as I spend a lot of time needing that focal length.

Highly recommended way of getting an accurate PD and prescription. And the PD doesn't change.

Pretty sure that is illegal, per federal law. You own ALL of your prescription, you paid for it. The PD is part of the prescription and your medical data. I'd call those people again and say you're gonna make a federal consumer protection complaint and see where that gets you.

That said... I got my PD from the little read outs from that machine the measures eye Rx (the one you look at the little tree image thing until it focuses) that the optician tech left on the table for the eye doctor...While I was alone in the room waiting for the eye doctor, I just took a picture of it LMAO

Probably raised prices 40% before the sale. I will say though that their stuff works and is way cheaper than any brick and mortar store.
Literally got my Zenni order today which I made before this sale and all the prices for frames, lenses, coatings, etc. are all still the same.

Didn't EVERYTHING used to be cheaper?
2 weeks to stop the spread, echoing into infinity, worsening every day and every hour.

Got a pair through zenni years ago on a SD deal, they were very nice glasses and were cheap.

This might be true, however, I've found that most places don't seem to consider the PD part of the RX, they never write the PD on the RX slip. Often times, If I ask for the PD, they just tell you to ask someone else for it on the way out, and some assistant will just tell it to you from their internal records or they will have you sit in front of a machine for a second and tell you. They have always provided the PD when I have asked, but they don't usually give it to you unless asked.

That said, if you go someplace, and they give you a hard time about giving you the PD, you should probably go somewhere else.

My biggest issue is, almost every eye dr I've been to has intelligible writing on their RX slips (this is probably intentional, it usually just looks like fake scribbles lol), so I always ask the dr or the assistant there to read out the full rx to me on the slip before I leave lol.

Zenni frames aren't bad for the price, you get what you pay for. I've bought a lot of glasses from them, the quality of the frames is all over the place, read the reviews, some frames are great, others can easily crack, bend, and peel.

A couple years ago I bought some glasses from them with a black frame, and I noticed when I got them that the black finish was already peeling off in a few places. At the time, it was not an easy process to get a refund, they wanted me to send them a bunch of pictures and initially they were only going to offer me a store credit.

Also, the coating quality on the lenses are all over the place, I have a few pairs with lens that look fine, while others, it is very obvious if you hold them up to a light source, the lens coating has all scratched/peeled off over time. I'm pretty careful with cleaning my lenses too.

Weird that the sale ends on Sunday. Think they will have the same or better Cyber Monday sale coupon?

I hope so, I heard about this just now from a friend after my optometrist is closed. Just want to make sure my prescription listed on the site is up to date.
