So sneaky they got rid of the $150 and $75 denominations so you can't use it on their $300 annual plan.

Stores sell airtime cards with tax & 911 fee so u get charged just like non pre pd plans. If u weren't paying that, u got lucky. Staples used to ring them up wrong too.

Target online never used to charge 911 fees and sales tax until I checked today. 5% RedCard discount combined with $5 off $50 prepaid card was $42.75 so it was a nice 14.5% discount on those $50 prepaid cards. Looks like that great savings is now sadly over Frown

Don't know how often that pops up, last time was 4-5 wks ago (started oct 22). i guess 5% off is better than nothing if you're sending $ for the phone either way.

worth noting that I didn't get tax charged on that last purchase or this one. probably very locality dependent. (Cricket in Maryland)

I only checked T-Mobile. I guess time to find discounted T-Mobile prepaid cards elsewhere. Target was great while it lasted.

We got "lucky" for years and years and years. Target just started charging taxes and fees about two months ago.

This is a so-so deal at 5% off. Wait for "$5 off $50 or more" which is the equivalent of 10% off, if you purchase individually in $50 denominations.
